Great Bridge High School

This school is something special. How do they produce such great vaulters? Lawrence Johnson, Brian Hunter, Rich Fulford, countless division 1 college vaulters, and this past year Jim Morrison jumped 17-6.5! WOW!

Great History, and great vaulting school.
I wonder what will happen now that Fulford is not the coach...I believe he has moved into administration.
Still, they were amazing for years.

I think you mean Mike Morrison. As far as I know Jim Morrison is from The Doors and still dead.

It is probably mostly from a single great coach, and the expectation in the school to jump high. When you are a sophmore jumping 14 or 15 feet, you would be considered good in most other high schools. But when you are overshadowed by a handfull of kids just as good or better than you, you are given more confidence and forced to push yourself just to keep up.

I'm pretty sure that coaches name is Jim Bemiller!!!
