I live in northern jersey. I also have coaches from 2 other teams realy help me out but i dont think they train over the summer or whatever. Anyways I wont see them again till next season.

Having Gone to hs in WI I feel your pain. There is a wisconsin pole vault coaches web site I would check out and see if you can find any answers. Try getting in toach with Jim Huemmer he coaches at wis rapids I believe

I vault in the backyard just about every weekend - at leat until we sell and move - stop in - backyard record is 13' - son -
Plant like crap sometimes ok most times

Just wondering, where did you go? rapids? I went to fond du lac (graduated now) and the only decent coaches in our conference was ours and a super old guy from appleton.

Sweet. how high did you vault?
Plymouth just had a kid at state who could go 14'7. That's pretty good here.

That is pretty close to the school record from 1970 something. That kid must have amazing talent or plymouth found a coach some where. I vaulted my junior year and the last two weeks of my senoir year with a best of 13' in competition. Some how I made it to state both years :confused: My life time best is 17'6".
