well dont get him pushing that bottom arm out to much that will end up blocking out later invert. hmm if he runs faster in meets with spikes i cant see how his mark is usually on? if hes not taking off in the right way it can hender alot of bending in the pole..... i find if my mark is off more than...

Are you doing a run back every meet or are you using the same measured mark everytime?

whoa ya i think he needs to be practicing with what he wears in a meet... For me spikes and running shoes are a huge diffrence.... i especially feel the weight diffrence when im going into my invert... it may sound stupid but a few ounces and the way the shoe is built makes a diffrence... well atlea...

well guys.... i went to the meet today and uh ya didnt to to well BUT better haha..... i landed in the pit WOW!!!!! only cleared 12' thats only 2 1/2 under my pr:P lol i think i just need to gain a lil more confidence with this pole and ill be fine but thx for the input;)

well i try to let my momentum carry into the box and thus bend the pole for me..... the bend does not come until im am off the ground.... so i dont know if that is still considered the syndrome...

Stalling....

well its been 2 years since i vaulted, which im sure wont help this problem... anyway ive recently started vaulting for my college, and once again there is no vaulting coach.. I have never had a coach ive just gone off of videos and experiences.... my PR as of my senior year is 14'6" on a 14'7" ucs ...

ah hit 14' great job man!!!! im lookin to hopefully hit 15' or higher tomorrow i changed alot of things in my swing this past week and got up to clearing 14'6" in practice which for me is unheard of....... i usually have trobkle clearing 13'6" in practice... by the way i added u to my msn buddy list...

no where did i say my p0lant was perfect...........hell i wish it was, but its not.......im just saying i dont think it has anything to do with the plant at this point i could be wrong but i never did say i had a perfect plant.....im jumping 14'6 and setting standards at 23
