Re: Stop Making the Same Mistakes......
that is the point…. And the point of a six stride coaches mark… the chart works even if you are only running 6 steps… try it.. have a vaulter that can grip 12 feet from 3 lefts (6 steps) start at 40 feet…. Very curious as to what happens next - I'm guessing the vaulter would advance back until they...

Re: Wrapping Poles
I highly recommend keeping the brand sticker in the middle of the pole if it's being used for high school, so that the official can confirm that the weight label matches the brand/manufacturer. The cons are that it's more work to decorate the pole and it doesn't look as nice, but it's not worth mak...

Re: Wrapping Poles
Reviving an old post here, as I did not see my question answered in the existing thread. What do you do with the original manufacturer's label in the middle of the pole? All of the weight-rating labels are in good shape and still intact, but is it necessary to keep the "Pacer FX" in its or...

Re: Shipping Poles to Competition site
Thanks for the heads-up
Are you talking about curb-side baggage check or do you go into the airport itself? Do you pay the fee on-site?
I never knew this opportunity was available. I'd be happy to bypass the SWA Cargo visits if its not necessary

Re: Shipping Poles to Competition site
I take them ahead of time to ensure the best shipping rate and to promote a stress-free, time-efficient departure from the airport - nothing to worry about but parking and boarding the plane. It's a little more consuming on the flight home because you have to return the rental car after dropping the...

Re: Shipping Poles to Competition site
A bit off-topic, but I have found Southwest Airlines to be both convenient and cost-effective when attending AAU and USATF Junior Olympics. Last trip was to Des Moines, but we flew the poles to the nearest SWA terminal (Omaha), rented a car, and drove 2.5 hours to the meet. The cost was just under $...

Re: Pacer Poles (FX vs. older model)
It's still a mystery to me how the 15-0 155 fits into his pole progression. According to JJ's chart (which is quite reliable), it should be heavier than the 14-0 170 and lighter than the 14-6 170. Is it? Kirk Can't really explain it myself, but he feel like it falls between the 14-6 165 ...

Re: Pacer Poles (FX vs. older model)
Just wanted to provide an update and thank everyone for their input regarding my original post. I was able to successfully swap our 14'-155 FX for the 15'-155 older model Pacer with another member of the PVP community  OldCoach was dead-on with the flex number - no way it was 16 as advertised b...
