Street Vaults in Ohio?

Rumor has it that there will be a street vault in Ohio this summer.

Does anyone know when and where?

Calling all Mid-Westerners! Indoor Track Meets in OH, PA

I am looking for some vault competitions over break to keep me in the competitive mood, and in shape too. Does anyone know of any open meets in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Indiana? Yes, I wish I was lucky enough to go to Reno but I am a poor college student :(

Though he usually doesn't get very many female vaulters, Coach Mitchell from the U of Akron in Ohio has a great vault program. His girl went 13'9".75 last season and though he is the head coach, he spends most of his time on the vaults

Standard s for this year

I'm a freshman and college, and even though I don't know most of the rules yet, I was wondering if the standard adjustment was true? I heard that the minimum your standards can be at this year is 18 inches? That seem kind of far, but is that true or not?

Drills you can do at home?

I was wondering if any one had any suggestions about drills you could do at home. I have no place to practice (they took down the pits at the high school for football) and I wondering if someone had any ideas. :D besides slide box in the grass.

My best vault from last season was (10-6) which got me fourth at the 2002 state meet in Ohio. The state record is only 11'0" because last year ipole vault was just approved by the state board. This year I hope to be jumping 12'0" or higher, and set the state record for sure! I need to work on my pla...
