Re: Vaulters Large & Small

Thanks Bubba and Roger. I'm proud of who I am and how I vault, and I am in the best shape of my life right now, so I am very confident about that. I love being a tall/strong vaulter with more power behind my jump. The only issue I had with this post is that I know that a lot of vaulters' height/weig...

Re: Vaulters Large & Small

Well I guess I'm the only girl that's honest about my weight haha. FYI this was 5 years ago in my first year of university. It hasn't been updated since I actually started training seriously. I'm 5"10 and 143-145lbs, which is probably pretty common among many other female vaulters. Is this rand...

Re: February 27 Weekend Conference Results

Is it if you have not entered the competition in one hour you get a minute or two on the runway for a run through? That's the only one-hour rule I can think of.

Re: Meets in late August close to Canada

Hi Ambroise, No I won't be at Canada Summer Games because I couldn't compete at the trials (Ontario provincials). It was the weekend after nationals, and I was supposed to be at FISU but had to pull out because of my injury. I'm healing up nicely now and want to compete in August, but they won't tak...

Re: Meets in late August close to Canada

Thanks Becca. I'm on the east coast (I live in Toronto, Ontario). But if there are no sanctioned meets in driving range, I am considering flying somewhere. I will keep Seattle in mind, and if anyone knows of any meets closer to home I'll look for those first. Thanks for your help!

Meets in late August close to Canada

I was just wondering if anyone knew of any vault competitions in mid-late august (other than beach or street vaults), preferably in a state closer to Canada. I'm a Canadian vaulter coming off a mid-season injury, looking to jump some carding standards in August, and unfortunately we only have one tw...

Re: Isi technique compared to chelsea, lacy, stacy

I think that people should be able to respectfully state their opinions on this forum freely, even if they wish to remain anonymous. People are constantly critiquing the techniques of elite vaulters because we are all striving to achieve higher heights. These vaulters all have their own way of jumpi...
