Hey so i would say that it is much more essential, because I am assuming that you are a high schooler, to get the proper run, plant and take off mechanics before worrying about swing "technique". I would much rather see a guy jumping 12' on a 15' pole 30 lbs over his weight than a guy jump...

Body Positioning

When the pole has reached it's maximum bend, what position should the vaulter's body be in? When the pole is completely straight, what position should the vaulter's body be in? (or when the potential energy from the release of the pole has completely transfered into kinetic energy and momentum takes...

I like your run and acceleration. You could do with shortening your last step and getting off the toe. But you didnt get in because you sucked your legs up after take off which raised your center of mass. Let your trail leg stay long through the swing.

And what in the world is a rock conveyor belt?

All together, this probably comes to 5000$, and I spent 110$. It just goes to show you, that its always cheeper and...

As a welder, all I can tell u is to get ur basic measurements from another school's standards and go from there. For the base, 2 inch angle and 2 inch square tubing should suffice, just make sure they slide. Fore the standards, some strong rectangle tubing (maybe 2x4 or 3x6) and flatbar surrounding ...

I agree that the run, plant and take off are essential to swinging. Keep getting faster and more powerful.
You might want to try doing thousands of ring and high bar swings and develop your core muscle with bubkas and windsheild wipers. As your core gets stronger, it will get easier to invert
