Re: Gill introduces the Carbon Weave pole

I love these poles they're significantly lighter and smaller diameter (good if you have small hands like me). They did take a while to come in though about a month or so from order to arrival but just in time for the practice before conference.

There's another one north of columbus in lewis center. Plus it's a charity event which is always a bonus, i'll get you more info when it becomes available. We're also trying to get one set up at The University of Akron but no promises on that one.

Re: What's the overall best school to vault at?

I'd have to say there is no "best" vault school but a bunch of good ones. I agree that you need a good coach who can motivate the vaulter however you also need fellow vaulters. Very few people can keep motivated without good competition and (in my opinion) there is no better competition th...

Last year there was one up by bowling green, Pemberville? It was a lot of fun and the people who put it on seemed to have every intention of doing it again. If I find any information I'll be sure to follow it up with a link. Here it is http://www.pembervillefair.org/index_files/StreetVault.htm

Personally I disagree with the top 12 declared finishers if the true purpose is to determine that the athletes are in good condition to compete it should be top 12 period. Otherwise just change the rule back to what it was where the top 5 go and everything else is at large. Although one possibly two...

The Uhle brothers from Ohio are at 13'6" and 14' both have potential to be 15 footers by the end of this year. They're freshman and it's their first year vaulting. Oh, and they're twins if you didn't catch on.
