You have great speed on the runway you just need to move up poles and stay on your pole longer, don't give up your jump to early cause you lose dramatic amount of height that way, and I think that will critique that little spin you have going on. You look like you some potential to go high if you ca...

I believed it at first until I heard jumping over the fence to jump, no one in their right mind would jump a fence to jump unsupervised with the possiblity of getting hurt, and only having one pole much less a pole that is 17 feet at the age of 16-17. Last olympics wasn't Toby using the longest pole...

Good that you know that. Ya you should try to be exact to that, your last three strides should be your most explosive strides, the way you jump over your hand grip is by having a fast and adequate run because that will determine the amount of energy you put into the vault. try working on pole run ca...

Exactly, I have a pole vaulter right now who is a sophmore who has the runway speed of a 100 meter dash runner and has hit 15' holding at 12'9 where you are holding on the exact same pole a 14' 150. he is at a 6 step but doesn't worry so much if his mark is on or off but makes sure that his run is c...

No Jason's right, the midmard Chart gives you a genuine idea of where your mark of take of is but numbers aren't always right, you also have to calculate how fast you are going. You look slow in the video and holding up is good but what you need is you need to work on your swing you aren't completel...

I sorry but that's the dumbest question I've heard all day... you need to stop. Your going to jump up about 2 full feet and most likely do the same jump as before not anticipating that you have to drive longer and most likely you'll fall back into the pit. go to the 14' and don't ask a question like...

Nick Weber the other day went over 15' first time this year at our annual practice meet. After his collar bone injury a few months back he has been working hard to get his jump back, had great clearance over the bar and almost had 15'3 but came down on it. He's on a 14' 155 UCS Spirit holding at 13'...

We got some promising vaulters in Texas that are sophmores I saw the other week, Sam Retzloft, Nick Weber, and a kid in Mansfield Scott something. All 14' plus and look promising to see 17' maybe there senior year. Nick Weber has maybe the best speed and run I've seen out of any vaulter I've seen or...
