I think a couple vaulters may be practicing for the decathlon coming up. Field events are scheduled to start at 8:30am but I m sure there will be some flexibility.

I just received confirmation that the PV will not be held again until the Potomac Valley Games on August 31.

I'm still waiting to here back from PVTC with a final decision from Craig.If it's a go, it will be on the 16th.

As far as I know, they're still planning to hold the PV at Langley HS. I don't think they're running the PV on July 26. They have to run the vault on August 2 because the decathlon is being held that weekend.

Anyone planning to jump at the PVTC meet on August 2nd.

The last I heard was that the pole vault will not be run at the July 5 meet. However, it will definately be run for the Decathlon on August 3 and at the Potomac Valley Games on August 31. I just received word that the pole vault is now cancelled on June 8.

A tornado last week threw one of the mats over 200 feet. One of the standards is broken and two other other mats and the cover are ripped.

The PVTC is planning to hold the PV at an alternative locaiton in the future.
