maybe his grip is at 13'9" but it slides down like 2 feet allowing him to stiff pole. :confused:

This has happened to me for the last several days after returning from pole vault camp. I never knew I had so many mistakes in my form that I just keep on thinking about it over and over again in my head. It takes me like an hour to fall asleep because Im so hyped to polevault again. haha :crying:

Ok so I did what dj said by pulling a tire but the rope left a really bad mark around my stomach and it hurts when I pull the tire. Is there a specific way i should place the rope or other place where i can tie the rope to myself?

good morning a 12-7 grip means you should have a 6 step "MID" near 42 feet if you are running correctly.. 42 "MID" is 6 steps 5-4 inches long.. set your run up on the track and give it a try.. mark the "MID" and each of the last 6 steps.. dj I dont really understand wh...

Well I wasss using a 12 140 but at the camp I moved to like a 13 130, mainly because they were trying to emphasize form. Jumping around 11'-- 11' 6"?


edit- gripping at around 12'6" i think.
