From what i heard she had one or two sessions and realised that she had maybe under estimated how hard it is and that the lame justification that it's similar to skeleton because you run fast at first then do something at the end wasn't really good enough !

The new series isn't out in britain yet but I downloaded it last night. Pretty sick but still very very funny. The episode before where they fight with ninja weapons is also class, especially the music 'protect my balls' hahaha ps. have you ever seen someone break a pole like that where they stall f...

Yeah that 5.92m jump was awesome. I have it in the house on video and I have a view along the line of the bar and you see just how much he cleared it by. Sure i heard that scientists analysed that footage and his high point was way in excess of 6.20m. The commentary on that clip is balls though. It ...

To quote ash from the article : “You’d have to be stupid to turn down an opportunity to meet a vaulter of his calibre!" Guess that makes me pretty stupid then ! I was invited to attend this weekend but had another training weekend arranged in advance so chose to go to that instead. Ah w...

I saw it live on tv and nearly cried laughing ! At first he looked like he was just untucking his vest from his shorts but then he just got his a** out and started running about. Truely a classic pole vaulting moment. I have been fortunate enough to meet tim a couple of times and the guy is a real c...

First Pacer Carbons ?

Just out of interest when did pacer start producing carbon poles ? Was at a comp in england today and saw what looked like a pacer III carbon dated '91. It didn't say carbon anywhere on the pole but it was pretty much the same colour as today's carbons and felt a bit lighter (although this could jus...
