Re: Olympic Games PV broadcast coverage
If you're in Europe, or can VPN into Europe, you can use http://www.eurovisionsports.tv. Don't need a log in, and it has live streaming (and replays of the live streams) of all of the events, as far as I can tell.

Re: Polevault Throughout Europe?
I jump in Zurich, Switzerland. When I was first looking for vault clubs, I had a hard time because I was searching for just that! A pole vault club, just like you would do in the US. However, in Switzerland at least, you don't really get pole vault clubs. You have full athletics clubs, and the vault...

For anybody still wishing to watch the whole French coverage, you can actually still watch it on their website, at http://fr.justin.tv/la_cosa_nostra/b/293763558 (not sure exactly where in the video the vault starts) followed by http://fr.justin.tv/la_cosa_nostra/b/293768207 followed by http://www.j...

Re: Female high school vaulter considering collegiate vaulting
Your height may be a disadvantage but it's not the end of the world. Feofanova is short and small as well, and check out her jumps! I recently graduated, but I jumped for a DIII school. Came out of high school w/ a 10'6" PR, improved to 13'6" in college, and I'm also about 5'2.5"! I'd...

Re: Building your own vaulters in college.
MIT has 3 vaulters who had never jumped before college. 2 of them went to DIII nationals this year in the vault. One of them is a sophomore and has cleared 3.70. The other is a senior who started jumping her sophomore year (she is also a heptathlete.) In her junior year she cleared 3.75. Both were f...

Clubs and Coaches in Europe
Hi everyone, I'm a senior at MIT, and am applying to five graduate schools in Europe. It might make a difference in my decision where to go if I know which school has the closest decent coaching for the vault. I'm a girl and have jumped 4.06 this season (an improvement from 3.76 last year) and am po...

Are they going to weigh us?
Seeing as it's the very beginning of the season (we don't have the opportunity to start practicing before december), I'm back on my smallest pole, and while I'm under my weight, I'm barely under it, and have been worrying about which poles to bring. So, does anyone know how much attention is actuall...
