when you compare to other professional athletes who are the best in their sport, it kinda is. Not saying I'd pass up 25k, but professional pole vaulters are vastly underpaid. Added the placement, I think this *should* be close to correct. I just kinda skimmed over it though. Name Team Place ========...

I don't know how hes doing that code stuff, but this should work just as well as its simple text: Name Team ================================================================================================== Flight 1 Fina...

interesting that they were too cheap to shoot a new video and just used scott slovers again. I wonder if they sent him another check. The video didn't play fluidly for me, but the audio worked, so I don't think I missed much. I didn't install the microsoft software it requested me to though, so that...

wait, seriously, where do you find these things? Does everyone just email you this sort of stuff when you find it? The articles on brad jumping 6.04 and all the olympic trial stuff I can understand obviously, but this is kinda obscure/nuts. You must really love pole vaulting, thats almost stalker st...

It took place at an outstanding facility (high school or not) that is known to be a very good place to vault with very favorable tailwinds. favorable is somewhat of an understatement, last time I vaulted there I was 4-5 feet under on my 7 stride, although I probably was a little excited too, and th...

I think you underestimate how much force the pole has stored in it. If you let go with your top hand, that is going to snap back and you won't be able to control where it hits you. I've seen a nose break (gushing blood everywhere in the process!). no, last year at reno my friend found a can of that...

vaulting out
The other day I had a vault that was really, really out. I think I was just getting tired or something, but I didn't change my step and I took off out. This caused me to not be able to get my feet in front of my body, and the pole basically flung me upside down into the pit right behind the box. I c...
