Jr. High poles

What would be a good range of poles for my Jr. High boy vaulters. I have 3 that range in weight from about 95 to 120. None of them are advanced vaulters. They vaulted as 7th graders, but we didn't have the money to get poles. They came a long way stiff poling, but it's time to get serious about bend...

Hand grip and flex

Here's my question. We're holding a 14'6 155 at 13'6 and are able to clear 13'6. Still can't get over our hand grip. What would the flex be at that hand grip? Next, if we went to a 15' 155, where should we hold to have the equivalent flex?

14'1 156 Essx pole for sale

I've got a 14'1 156 Essx that's been used at two meets. Still like new. Paid 377 for the pole. Will let it go for 300. It's time for us to move up.

14 or 16 step run

How do you know if or when you should move to a longer run. We are currently using a 14 step approach.

spirit pole

If no one has a spirit 14 160 I can trade for or borrow, is there some place in Texas where I can buy one pretty fast? I'd like to have one to practice on before regionals in 2 weeks.

What's the highest you've cleared. My vaulter has gone 13-6 on a 13-9 155 altius non carbon.

mystic carbon poles

The carbon pole doesn't have the pink wrap, so it wouldn't necessarily look girlish, but I wonder if there any good male vaulters that can't get up on a 15 foot pole that can with a 14 or 14-6 pole, who are using one. Does anyone know of any?

need a pole

If no one has a 14-3 145 Altius, I'll consider a 14-6 140 of another brand. I'm desperately in need of one or the other. :crying:
