Broken Tailbone
A teammate of mine just broke his tailbone while sledding. We are both vaulters, but right now we are focusing on diving. Does anyone know whether or not he will be able to continue to dive (he's ranked #1 in the state) while his tailbone is healing? Is this going to affect his vaulting in the spring?

Too much muscle?
Would gaining too much muscle mass be detrimental to a pole-vaulter? I am currently 5'8" 145 lbs with low body fat and do a large amount of high-rep low weight conditioning. I have been considering going to the weight room on a regular basis this winter to build more muscle, however I am afraid...
