There's no optimal body shape for pole vaulting. So many things interfere with performance....anyone with 2 legs and 2 arms can do pretty good. If you consider the 2 current vaulters: Lavillenie and Otto, you've got the answer... Pv is all about using the stiffer pole your skills allow you to accord...

Looking for 2 hand pole
After resuming vaulting last January, I'm currently short of poles for proper progression.
I don't want to invest on a brand new pole, as I will soon have to move to stiffer poles.
I'm looking for a used 15.1 (or even 7) - 185 or 190 lbs.
I live in NYC.
