Ryland Pole Vault
Hello to the pole vault community, I hope this finds everybody well and in good shape. I have spent the last 18 years of my life working towards becoming the best pole vaulter I could be. 16 of those years I was very fortunate to work with Earl Bell at Bell Athletics where I improved my vault from 1...

Re: Any there any coaches on the Emerald Coast?
I have a place straight north of Grayton Beach about 4 miles. I have just recently moved there from Jonesboro, AR and have been putting together my pole vault playground.

Re: Looking for a good camp in the Midwest
Bell Athletics is the best pole vault camp/facility you will encounter in the world. Earl Bell teaches everything that you will need to know to be successful as a pole vaulter, he has a way of making things simple that so many others seem to complicate. 11' as an 8th grader shows that you already ha...

Darren Niedermeyer 5.71i
Darren Niedermeyer just jumed in a meet at Bell Athletics last night and he made 5.71 look silly...I have never seen this much raw horsepower on the runway... On his first two attemps at 5.71 he was on a 5.20m 11.6 and decided to go to his 11.3 for his third attempt...left his standards on 80 and co...

vaulter 0512... I am currently writing a diagnosis/treatment paper for what you are describing that I will be submitting to the development coaches for the pole vault...what you are calling low ab/groin pain is actually very common among pole vaulters, yet nobody seems to know about it... what you a...

that attempt at 5.90 had some huge height. Is Daniel jumping on Jeff Hartwig's 17 foot long poles (the blue stripes looked familiar)? Actually the jump at 5.91 is on one of Jeffs 5.30 poles, Jeff has been my mentor as long as I have been in Jonesboro, he actually flew me to Europe in 2002 to hang o...
