the way i learned since at first i would turn to the right instead of left were rope drills...if u can find a rope(like a climbing rope) and hold onto it like u would a pole...to start just swing up and get inverted(holding the rope with ur feet so u dont fall and can hold that position for a while)...

High school heights getting lower?
im noticing from the schools ive seen vaulting so far that the freshman this year dont even come close to jumping as high as the other years...when i was a freshman me and the other now varsity vaulters were starting at 9 but the freshman this year are all getting out at 8'6 if theyre lucky 9...just...

theyve said it all already but basicly if u cant get on a 14' pole thats around 10 lbs over your weight then ur definately not ready to move up to a 15' pole as well as there being ~20lbs more resistance per foot the speed difference ull have to bring in with that foot difference is a lot faster als...
