i say get a good early plant, swing your trail leg hard, and pull like crazy!! Also everything everyone else has said helps.

every time my dad trys to vault he complains about his shoulder and its because he is always so under with such a late plant, so i agree with every one else

Missing out on the HOT chicks at reno just makes missing reno more dissapointing. The hottest girls I have ever seen have been vaulters!!! Reno would have been heaven. lol

I have gone over the bar and come down, hitting the bar with my chin and busting open my lip. I have done this twice and both times i was within an inch of clearing the bar.

Nothing about vaulting bothers me except, clueless officials that seem to know everything....I hate it more then anything! It can ruin a whole meet.
